About Chris McClure

Chris worked 20+ years in Enterprise IT Sales & Services, but never felt like he was working a “purpose”.

He loved people, was naturally intuitive, able to understand, gain trust, and get conversations going deeply.

Chris’ own converging paths of addiction, recovery, deepening dependency on spirituality, family pain, and significant shifts in life led to an even stronger empathy & affinity for others and their paths of change. It was at that point, and with the right nudge from a counselor, he decided it was time to evaluate becoming a therapist himself.

After tremendous discernment, confusion, fear, and even obstinate defiance, Chris decided to enroll in graduate school and give it a try.  One slow step at a time, while still working during the day, and with support and sacrifices of his family, he worked toward becoming a Therapist and realized he was “there for a reason”.

Chris uses his own experiences, pain, growth, attunement, and HOPE to help clients explore patterns, roots, and truths they may not otherwise see.  These tend to be the first of many keys that ultimately unlock the strength inside themselves.  Chris supports clients on their path of change in a non-judgmental, supportive, but challenging environment.  Chris will lean toward Attachment and emotionally-focused modalities, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Experiential work to do the job, but uses whatever doors the client is capable to access based on dialogue, presentation, and experience in session.
